My name is Gianluca, or Luca. I’m an Italian from Venice who has been in sunny Nelson since 2012. I grew up in a multicultural environment that led me to appreciate new and different narratives. I enjoy reading good books, playing music, and stargazing at the majestic New Zealand sky.
 

As a counsellor, I work with adults and young adults in a safe and welcoming space, where thoughts and feelings are explored to create a unique path of change and growth. Successful outcomes are achieved using a Person-Centred approach, Coherence Therapy (which gently delves into your subconscious to uncover the root of the problem and bring it to the surface), and Motivational Interviewing language, which encourages you to talk yourself into making beneficial changes.
